Indian Psychiatric Society, Nashik is an autonomous body of psychiatrists in the city of Nashik, working for betterment of mental health by promoting prevention, increasing awareness, appropriate treatment and reduction of psychiatric disabilities. Public education is main focus of activities, Psychiatric training, Research and academic exchange amongst members are other areas of functioning. Regular activities consist of clinical meetings, seminars, invited lectures by eminent psychiatrists or mental health professionals.
